How does it work
Waiting list
I work with a waiting list. When you want to be placed on the waiting list, I ask a 25% deposit for material costs. I cannot exactly tell when I will be making your drawing. Next to this business, I work in education, and I also have a photography business. That means I don’t always have a lot of time for the drawings, depending on my schedule.
Making 1 drawing takes up quite a lot of time, so I will not be able to finish it in just a few days.
Photos
It is important to deliver good and clear photos, so I can make a good drawing. It is important it is not too dark, and not too blurry. Also the head must be in a nice position. I always ask for a few photos, so we can decide together which photo I could use best. I also use more photos to be able to get the right color of the animal. When you have a photo that is made by a photographer, they first have to agree on using that photo for the drawing, since there is copyright on that photo.
Gift certificate
When you want to give a drawing as a gift, but it is not ready in time, I can make a digital gift certificate, describing what the gift will be. That way you still have something you can give, while they wait for the actual drawing.
Updates
Als ik met je tekening begin laat ik dit weten, en stuur ik regelmatig updates. Op die manier kan je volgen hoe het gaat, en kan je het aangeven wanneer er misschien iets nog niet helemaal klopt. Als je het goed vindt plaats ik ook voortgang op social media, zodat ook anderen kunnen zien waar ik mee bezig ben. Als het een cadeautje, en de ontvanger niet mag weten dat ik er mee bezig ben, dan doe ik dat uiteraard niet.
Inlijsten
Pasteltekeningen vegen snel uit. Wanneer je de tekening ontvangt, moet er dus ook voorzichtig mee om worden gegaan. Mijn advies is daarom om de tekening na ontvangst met passe-partout achter glas in te lijsten. De passe-partout zorgt ervoor dat het papier het glas niet raakt. Zo zal de tekening het mooist blijven. Een lijstenmaker kan er natuurlijk voor zorgen dat de tekening professioneel wordt ingelijst voor je.
Versturen
De tekening is af! En je bent tevreden over het resultaat. Dan moet hij verstuurd worden! Ik zal de tekening met veel zorg verpakken. Er zijn meerdere verzendopties, afhankelijk van de grootte van de tekening , en afhankelijk van de manier van versturen. Ik verstuur het minimaal aangetekend of anders verzekerd. Verzending is altijd op eigen risico, maar wanneer het verzekerd of aangetekend is, heb je toch net wat meer zekerheid dan bij een normaal pakketje.
Je mag natuurlijk ook de tekening persoonlijk op komen halen in Arnhem. Dan weet je zeker dat er niks mee gebeurt!
